English
1. Respect for rights
Shoorkum respects copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, database, and other intellectual-property rights in operating Shoorkum. Submit only content you created, are authorized to share, or may lawfully use. Credit alone does not create permission.
2. User ownership and limited licence
Users retain ownership of original content. The limited licence in the Terms lets Shoorkum and its processors host, format, translate, narrate, moderate, display, and distribute content as needed to deliver selected features; it does not transfer ownership.
Do not copy articles, books, private messages, paid material, photos, video, song lyrics, or another user’s post merely because it is online. Short quotations may still require a lawful purpose and attribution. Fair use, fair dealing, quotation, criticism, and public-domain exceptions depend on applicable law and facts.
3. Submitting a complaint
Submit through support or in-app Help & Safety. Include:
- Your full name and reliable private response method.
- Identification of the protected work, mark, or right, with a lawful source or registration if available.
- The Shoorkum URL or unique post/comment identifier and precise description of the material.
- Why the use is unauthorized and why you are the owner or authorized representative.
- A good-faith statement that the information is accurate and you understand a knowingly false complaint may create legal responsibility.
- Your electronic signature by typing your full legal name.
Do not include unnecessary identity documents or unrelated personal data. Shoorkum may request proportionate verification or more information. Incomplete, abusive, or obviously fraudulent notices may be declined.
4. Action on a complaint
Shoorkum may restrict material while evaluating a credible complaint, notify the affected user where lawful, preserve evidence, and share the complaint’s substance with that user or a competent authority. Shoorkum is not a court and may require an appropriate legal order for a complex ownership dispute.
Repeated or serious infringement may result in feature restriction, reputation loss, suspension, or account deletion.
5. Response by the affected user
If your content was restricted and you believe the decision is mistaken or an exception applies, respond through support or Help & Safety. Identify the content and decision, explain your right or exception, provide sources, confirm truthfulness, and type your full legal name as an electronic signature.
Shoorkum may forward the response to the complainant. Content may be restored, remain restricted, or await a binding order depending on law, risk, and evidence. A false response may create legal responsibility.
6. Trademarks, identity, and publicity
Do not use another person’s name, image, voice, brand, or logo in a way that falsely suggests affiliation, endorsement, or identity. Clear lawful fan discussion, commentary, or nominative reference may be allowed; impersonation and deceptive branding are prohibited.
7. Retention and contact
Complaint, response, and enforcement records may remain up to 24 months after closure, or longer under a valid legal hold. Public removal does not require deletion of evidence that must lawfully be preserved. Shoorkum does not identify a statutory agent or postal office that has not actually been appointed.
